Legnoply White ash.

The ply is of good consistency clean faces, no knots. I like that the poplar core is light but likely much more resistant to moisture damage than the MDF core of Micropanel. White ash seems to me to look the closest to bamboo but with better inter-strand adhesion between the grain. Cuts and marks well. On my Geweike Storm 600 with 65 watt laser tube set at 30% max, 6% min engraving, there's still a bit of finesse required on settings not to burn too far through engraving. Wiping with Tung oil, the face is mostly snag-microsplinter free.

Thanks for taking the time to leave such a detailed review of your experience with our Legnoply products Graham! Your technical recommendations in addition to advice on both the veneer aesthetics and product aftercare will go a long way to assist other customers with their engraving projects. Many thanks and all the best for your next build!
